More from the re-opening of Chanel's Soho Boutique, as local New York resident and fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker made an appearance wearing Chanel. SJP doesn't do too many fashion events these days (unless it's related to her own Halston Heritage brand!), but she picked a monochrome colourblock maxi dress from Chanel Resort 2011 collection for the event.And judging by these photos, it seems that black is the new black!
Check out a couple of brunettes who decided less is more - Leighton Meester was definitely not Blair Waldorf at the event, gone were the bright colours & hair accessories! She wore a simple crew neck ruffle hem black dress with statement Mary Janes & Chanel handbag.
And Liv Tyler went for a simple black jumpsuit - I'm not sure I like her choice of footwear, Oxfords seem a bit casual for the event. But she's still lovely...
