More Zoe Saldana here - not a coincidence, as it was this event that reminded me of Zoe's two designer handbags! The now-single actress posed prettily at the Children's Defense Fun 'Beat The Odds' Awards on Thursday evening. This is a non-profit program that honors high school students who "demonstrated academic excellence and given back to their communities". I think it's important to share a little information about these events - fashion is fun and all, but we should acknowledge the many good causes out there.

We have some Street Chic here today, combined with a Celebrity Designer Handbag - and why not make it two handbags, as Zoe Saldana appears to have entered her destination carrying deisgner handbag, and exited with another (nice one!).

She was snapped earlier this week arriving at an office in Beverly Hills, looked super chic (and smart!) in glasses, a white lace scallop-edge top and skinny jeans. The large grey tote is, of course, Stella McCartney's Falabella.. it's an easily identifiable look (not made of leather, remember!), and Zoe has herself a new metallic boucle version. She looks great...

Zoe attended the Gen Art Fresh Faces In Fashion LA as more than a guest, she was actually the host! This is an annual event to showcase the 'hottest emerging designers' in L.A., and has been responsible for launching a few new notable designers. Geren Ford, Rami Kashou & Phillip Lim all had their debut at this event.

Zoe Saldana & Jaime King in Jason Wu Spring/Summer 2012 @ Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in LA


Spot: Jason Wu dresses as seen on Zoe Saldana & Jaime King at The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles at Will Rogers State Historic Park on October 9th.

Here's another sighting of Spring/Summer 2012 dresses, and they seem to appear in pairs... just like Bar Refaeli and Michelle Monaghan scoring those magical Marchesa dresses from the Spring 2012 runway, we now have two dresses from Jason Wu's latest collection. Given how popular this label is among celebrities, we will probably see these dresses again!

This was as close as you can get to a society event in L.A., the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles, held this weekend. It was a fundraiser for Will Rogers State Historic Park, to help keep polo fields open, and drew an assortment of celebrities, Zoe and Jamie among them.
