Dramatic black is Salma Hayek's colour of choice, wearing both Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent dresses in New York to promote 'Here Comes The Boom', her new comedy with Kevin James.At the premiere on Tuesday (October 9), she looks fantastic in a strapless midi dress with sheer pleated lace skirt. This is Stella McCartney, and since it looks like modified version of a piece from her recent Spring/Summer 2013 runway show, it leads me to believe this is part of an upcoming evening collection! Don't forget Salma is married to Francois-Henri Pinault, CEO of PPR (majority owners of Gucci, Stella, Alexander McQueen, YSL & more!). Check out the photo below - she started the event wearing a chic tailored black jacket, also Stella.
And did you see her on David Letterman last now? She was va va AND voom in a black leather dress by Cushnie & Ochs Pre-Fall 2012 - I already published a close-up photo of her beehive, and super heavy YSL chain necklace here. Interesting to see that she is wearing a similar black blazer over her leather dress arriving at the theatre. Black is definitely the new black for Salma!
