Freida Pinto in Rachel Roy @ 'Trishna' Screening & 'Today' Show

Spot: Freida Pinto has made a couple of notable appearances in Rachel Roy to promote 'Trisha' in New York... which makes perfect sense as The Cinema Society with Rachel Roy & Circa Hosted the screening last night.We saw Freida promote Trishna a while ago - it was first screened back in September at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, and then at the BFI London Film Festival the following month. It's a modern re-telling of the classic "Tess of D'Ubervilles", but set in India. In case you are unfamiliar with the story, I don't want to give it away, but definitely bring your tissues, is all I'm going to say!
At the screening last night, Freida wore a textured sparkling cream dress from Rachel Roy's Resort 2013 collection. It would have been nice to see boyfriend Dev Patel with her (have you seen him on 'Newsroom', it's a fabulous new Aaron Sorkin show!). The next day, she popped by NBC's Todays show, wearing another Rachel Roy dress. Between the two looks, I prefer the yellow dress.. the colour just pops on Freida!
