Spot: Miley Cyrus wore a strapless white mini dress with lavender trim by Marches from Spring/Summer 2011 to the 2010 American Music Awards.A very sweet-looking Miley Cyrus walked the red carpet at the 2010 American Music Awards in soft white Marchesa from Spring/Summer 2011, and this is not the first time she has worn Marchesa on the red carpet (the black & gold dress she wore to the 2008 American Music Awards dress was a very memorable look on the site!).
She chose a gorgeous white mini dress with a massive train.. just look at that thing below! For me, it's too long for a music awards show (where the norm is more edgy than classic), but I understand this would be the designer's vision. Just a couple of days shy of her 18th birthday, she went for a more feminine look, with soft makeup and styling. She actually looked more her age in this dress than some previous outfits.
She appeared on stage to sing "Forgiveness And Love" looking more goth (but still with the straight hair), and she seemed to channel a young Stevie Nicks! Flowing hair, wearing a sheer kaftan with bare feet. To her credit, I'm thinking she was one of the few singers not on Auto-Tune! Clip of Miley's performance below..
