Miley Cyrus fans will be thrilled to see their girl back on the red carpet - she made a lovely appearance at the 1st Annual American Giving Awards, held in Los Angeles.

The show aired last night, and included $2,000,000 in grants awarded to 5 organizations that are "building blocks of our communities". These organizations were categorized as educators, heroes/leader, champions of health, community builders and youth developers. Nicely done. Miley presented an award, and looked polished and grown-up in a dress by Jenny Packham. From the Fall/Winter 2011 runway, the nude silk chiffon dress has a halter neck, draped back and soft pleated skirt. And check out that dip-dyed ponytail! Ombre indeed..
