Singer Estelle appeared on the red carpet at the 2009 BET Awards sporting a white glove (as a tribute to Michael Jackson) and wearing a dress that I've already profiled as a winning look. I totally love that she wore a non-red carpet dress to a red-carpet event, which shows that you don't need to pick from future collections to make a fashion statement. Just pick a dress that suits, and wear it well, it's that simple!I've not put together a Trend-Spotted Twice wven thought Lily Allen wore this Acne Baroque bustier dress when she was in New York - Lily opted for the "tango red" colour, and Estelle is wearing the the indigo denim version. Readers know I'm a big fan of celebs who wear current season, and Estelle hit a home run in my book. You would never know this isn't next season.
As for Acne, they're becoming one of those versatile must-have labels known for very high quality items pieces in addition to their denim - I'm quite familiar with the jeans, as I recently picked up a pair (Hex summer blue).
