Wow, Drew Barrymore certainly made quite the fashion statement at the HBO Films premiere of 'Grey Gardens' wearing a soft neutral chiffon creation by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti! Check out the snaps below, and pay close attention to the hair & make up.. talk about a return to old Hollywood glamour! She reminds me of those shimmering stars of the 1930s. Only Drew can pull this off with grace & style.. she's such an original. Her grandfather would be proud (the great John Barrymore!).

This is an important project for her - the film was was produced by her own company, and stars herself and Jessica Lange as real-life mother & daughter Edith "Big Edie" Ewing Bouvier Beale & Edith "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale (Big Edie was first cousin of Jackie Onassis). They lived in isolation & squalor at Grey Gardens, which was an old mansion in the Hamptons. I'm looking forward to this film.
