I just moved Drew Barrymore from "Actress" to the "Fashion Icons" section, I'm not kidding. When she walked on to the Letterman show to chat about Gery Gardens, it was a jaw-dropping entrance. She was her usual charming self (he & Drew usually have so much chemistry).. and she looked amazing.

The dress is from Giambattista Valli's Pre-Fall 2009 collection, and if you're curious about this designer, here's the scoop: he was born & raised in Rome, and while he holds a BA from Liceo and a degree in Art, he also studied at  Central St. Martin's School of Arts in London. Moving back to Milan, he worked with the Fendi family, was appointed Senior Designer for Krizia womenswear. After working with Emanuel Ungaro, he launched his own collection in 2005. He is definitely a celebrity red carpet fav, and Drew also wore a dress of his on The Tonight Show back in February.
