There are some celebs that make this "job" real easy.. and Charlize Theron is one of them! I'm not going to wax poetic on how beautiful she is, that's pretty obvious.. what I really like is that you get a sense of "natural" about her. In a celeb world where nips & tucks are the norm, and celebs have everything & anything pulled, plumped or tweaked, it's nice to see a natural winning look on the red carpet.

She is wearing a signature designer of hers.. Christian Dior. Not only has she been the face of J'Adore, she has been a terrific ambassador for the runway collections. Anything Dior that she wears gets noticed by the fashion press.

In this case, we have soft & floaty yellow chiffon dress from Christian Dior Fall 2009 runway with matching gold embellishments on the shoulders & at the waist. The colour is more pale yellow than mustard, I think the lighting has played tricks on the fabric.

What I like is that Charlize isn't afraid to take risks; her look is always interesting, whether you love it or hate it (me, I love it!). As I've said before, some red carpet looks are just so... safe. While it makes for good magazine copy (everyone wants to make the best-dressed list!), the looks aren't always inspiring. They look too scripted. But Charlize always stands out with interesting choices, and fashion advice you can take away for yourself... in this case, I'm loving the deceptively conservative style, amazing fabric, and very chic look!
