Check out the red carpet gallery from last night's Grammy Awards. Pretty much everyone looks nice.. yup.. that's it.. nice. Actually some look more than nice - I think Carrie Underwood nailed the perfect look. Her gold Zuhair Murad dress was edgy & appropriate for the music industry, but also elegant & stylish (not trashy!). It was great to see Jennifer Hudson again, she glowed in an interesting origami-bodice color block dress by Roland Mouret. And both Katy Perry and Paula Abdul wore Basil Soda, a new upcoming designer from Lebanon. According to Paula, interviewed on the red carpet, she credits American Idol for this new fashion find.

Taylor Swift & Miley Cyrus both wore black floor-length gowns - Taylor in Kaufman Franco, and Miley wearing Herve Leger. They looked lovely, but perhaps a bit too grown-up for my liking.. I much preferred their outfits when they sang onstage together!
