Trends for Summer 2009: Tropical Colors - Coral

To continue the discussion of Tropical Colors (which dominates the Spring/Summer 2009 Color Wheel), if you prefer softer shades, coral pink has your name on it!

Trend: Soft & pretty shades of coral

Coral stands out as a terrific transitional colour, as it looks amazing with black (for early spring evenings when the nights are cool), and when summer whites kick in, you won't find a more flattering combination than coral & white!

If you want to add just a splash, consider a pretty little cardigan, or asymmetric ruffle top (shown below). To accessorize in coral, you can wear it in it's original form! Kenneth Jay Lane has a gorgeous line of new coral jewellery (most notably seen on Cheryl Cole!).
