This
trend was very evident on the Spring/Summer 2008 runway, and
perhaps the newest look of the season. We're talking,
of course, of the lingerie trend.
Remember that this is NOT your inner
wear
worn
outside.. these are frothy, silky or even lacy confections added to
your everyday wardrobe.
There are two ways of wearing this "lingerie" trend - the more
edgy "Agent
Provacateur" look, which we strongly suggest you save for your fun
nghts out (definitely not office appropriate!), or the more feminine accented
look. This includes pretty little tops matched with high-waisted pants
& fantastic heels. A simple and very feminine chiffon dress,
or even just a a silk & lace cami under a great little jacket. Lingerie
is as much fabric as it is style.
A trend note: we do suggest you skip the whole "Agent Provacateur"
look during the day, and save your best lingerie for the evening!
