here for a while.
And for the record, the Oxford/Lace-up trend is a first-cousin. Anything
that keeps your ankles well supported and dressed to
thrill.
The BIG PICTURE: Edgy,
Patent, Hardware are
key words to remember.
How to wear ankle boots? You have choices:
Skirts: If you
want to wear them with skirts, two words... OPAQUE TIGHTS... (we hardly
yell,
so you know we really mean it!). For the more fashion
forward
trendanistas out there, you can certainly wear colored
tights with your ankle boots; they're very happening this season
as well.
Trousers: Skinny jeans & pants - we know how you feel
about them, and yes, we agree they're not for everyone. But if
you have
long enough legs, definitely wear ankle boots with your skinny
jeans. It's a dynamite look (again, only if you have the legs).
While your
footwear may not be as evident
when
you
wear wide-leg
trousers, don't discount the importance of a good-looking shoe-boot
peeping out.
