If you've been reading us lately, you know that Shape
is key this fall. When you add "mini" to "shape",
you get sharp angles, like mod A-Line or that 60's
look. Perfect for a mini-dress. For fall, colors
are dark or metallic (or plaid), and tights are back
as well.
If you're
not
comfortable with
the short length,
you
can
always
add some layers for balance... creates an equally
great trend look for Fall!
As
far as trends go, designer runways set the
tone for the season, and individual styling
gets added when the accessories & footwear come
out. Hemlines rose over the spring/summer, and it
continues in the fall, and what we like about
this is not the mini itself, it's the different ways
you
can wear it (tights, tall boots, or ankle boots,
even strappy mary-jane platforms).
