Look of the Week: Dramatic and dark floral trend for Fall 2010

Look of the Week returns in September for some fabulous new fashion ideas! And while the first official day of fall is September 21st, Labor Day marks the beginning of the new season for most of us.

Floral prints tend to be associated with summer, and while that has been true in the past, the floral trend continues in Fall/Winter 2010 with a darker turn. Dramatic and bold, the colours are more jewel tones than pastels and also include single colour prints - purple floral on black, orange & yellow paired with brown, or even black & white floral prints.

We saw a wide variety of floral on the Fall/Winter 2010 runway - Dolce & Gabbana showed some fabulous black floral prints, edgy London designer Christopher Kane added floral to leather & lace dresses, and reader fav Topshop has a terrific collection of floral items online.

If you're looking to update your Fall wardrobe, the most efficient (and versatile!) item this season is the all-occasion gray dress.

Fall 2010 Fashion Trends: The best Camel handbags for the new season!

As regular readers know, camel is one of the hottest trends for the new fall season - and while the color flatters every skin tone, sometimes it's fun to add a trend to your wardrobe without a full commitment to a new color. And that's where handbags come in!

Lucky for us, handbag shapes don't change too dramatically each season, but this season has definitely seen a return to retro. Buy Demi Lovato white dress & Nick Jonas Ralph Lauren polo online @ 2010 US Open Arthur Ashe Kids Day!

Tennis fans will be thrilled the US Open started today, and while that means the end of summer is near, it also means back to school fashion, and an update on your fall wardrobe. And every teen knows exactly who these two celebs are! Pretty little Demi Lovato joined the Jonas Brothers over the weekend for 2010 US Open Arthur Ashe Kids Day, and we have a couple of fashion spots to share.

This is a very well deserved mention for this fabulous online boutique, but it certainly doesn't come as a surprise to readers of ShoppingTheTrend, as we have been loving them for years.

Fall 2010 Shoe Trends: Top 20 Over-The-Knee Boots for cool & casual chic

Over-the-knee boots made a comeback last winter, and if there is one must-have this new season, it's the casual and cool OTK boot.
